Escape Espresso is a specialty coffee concept inspired by Victorian-era stage magic posters and 16th-century ornamental woodcuts. This combination of elements evokes mystery and antiquity, while imparting elegance and texture.

The Houdini image was created by compositing partial photographs and illustrations into a stencil. The result was then cut, scanned, and digitized. The ornamental details are a mixture of digitized hand-drawn elements and modified artifacts from the public domain of The British Museum.
